I’m usually resistant to “trends” (in the stamping and clothes world – ask my daughter about that last one!) … intially that is, and then I sometimes cave in and catch it before it’s too late.
For instance, Chevrons are on sale this month during amuse studio’s Spotlight Special so I am not going to miss out on that! But, I’ve also been eyeing this Victorian Charm set and I must say, I see a lot of possibilities with it! What I really like is that a•s saw fit to make that center oval removeable…wow! No shadows to worry about by accidently picking up unwanted ink in the center. And, now you have a second element to use in your stamp design — the outside oval “rim” and the inner, oval solid shape.

These are stunning cards, Chris! You really make that sweet silhouette set shine. Love the layouts on both cards. (I’m the same as you when it comes to trends, but you rocked the socks of the silhouette woodgrain trends, big time!)
