Red Gingham – yum!

a muse studio

This flower idea is totally cased from Michelle, who I mentioned in last week’s CAS post.  I loved coloring this particular flower from the a•muse studio set, Friend to Friend, with copics.  When you know you are going to cut something out, it gives you a little freedom and that’s especially nice when you are coloring with red!

I embossed the white cardfront with the Harlequin Impression plate and added a touch of red gingham behind the front panel.  One of the ladies at my class left off the gingham, and it looks great that way too!  Finish it off with a couple of rounds of baker’s twine.  A•muse studio baker’s twine rolls are huge and such a good value, you don’t mind looping it around a couple of times!  :)

  2. Oh, yes, love the red gingham. It’s very striking with the black and the beautiful flowers. Lovely card!
