Amusing Challenges – birthday theme

Welcome to this week’s Amusing Challenges. Throughout the month I’ll have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc. This week is easy…just make a Birthday card or tag! I will have a Weekly Winner and at the end of the month, those 4-5 winners will go into a prize drawing. This month’s prize is the swallows die set from a•muse studio!

Juliet sent me a lovely trio of birthday tags…she used some of the sayings from Enjoy the Ride to stamp the background. As always, when you click on a picture, it will enlarge for you to fully enjoy!

My card is heavily inspired by a Pinterest card I saved…the funny thing is that I somehow indented my cardstock smack in the middle of the toffee panel and since it was my second attempt, I was NOT about to redo it again. I grabbed some cherry baker’s twine and wrapped it around the card and love it – it added that perfect extra detail. For this card I used: Star Trio die, Cupcake Toppers die set, Cupcake Companion stamp set and Toffe, Cherry & latte Woodgrain cardstock – all from a•muse studio.
