Welcome to this week’s Amusing Challenges. Throughout the month I’ll have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc. This week we’re using glitter! I will have a Weekly Winner and at the end of the month, those 4-5 winners will go into a prize drawing. This month’s prize is the swallows die set from a•muse studio!
Juliet used heat and stick powder and mixed a few colors of glitter to get the leaves…she said is was hard match to the background paper but I think she did a great job! She used Marvelous Marigolds from a•muse studio. Click to enlarge…you can really see the glitter then!
I have to admit, glitter is not the first thing I normally grab…BUT, I really had fun adding it to the edges of this Wild Rose from a•muse studio. This stamp set happens to be just one of their retiring stamp sets – and if you like it, it’s on sale (while supplies last/28 Feb) for 30% off.

Thanks for offering a challenge them near and dear to my heart. I hear ya about the difficulty in photographing glitter – when you visit my blog, you’ll see what I have to say about the matter, too LOL Both cards look AMAZING with the glitter, and I can only imagine how fantastic they must be in person.
Wonderful use of glitter on the cards. I used a chalk that when used with VersaMark gives a glitter look so my snow has a glitter look on my entry. I posted closeups on my blog so you can see the glitter look.
