Valentine tags

I love making tags – they are tiny and quick and yet you can really pile it on if you want.  These are just a clean and simple design but I love the pop from the petite polka dot cherry cardstock heart and the bubblegum/cranberry glitter.

I used the sets All For Love and At First Sight from a•muse studio plus their Holiday tag die set and heart trio die set (this is the largest heart) and the glitter too.  Those strips of glitter are so easy to achieve – and without a huge mess too!  I ran a static magic over my tag and then I used the redline tape and laid down the first strip.  I peeled away the covering and poured on the glitter.  Pressed down firmly and then taped off the excess.  I just repeated those steps with the second color…easy and oh so pretty.  I finished them off with the new Seattle baker’s cording.  This is a bit thicker and gives you a whole new range of options!

I have a lot of catch up today.  The kids were off for teacher work days and my hubby decided to stay home too!  That was nice because this was our weather in DC yesterday…sigh…I am ready for spring!
