Welcome to a new and fun kick off to this week’s Amusing Challenges. This week it’s all about Kraft (my personal, go-to favorite!). Throughout the month I’ll have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc. I will have a Weekly Winner and at the end of the month, those 4-5 winners will go into a prize drawing. March’s prize is an A Muse Studio (Kindrid Spirits retired) rubber stamp set from me!
You have until midnight to play along with the “beer/rootbeer/greenbeer or wine” Amusing Challenge found here. But now let’s check out what our design team came up with for this week’s challenge!
Juliet sent me two great cards to choose from and so I picked them both! Here she did some paper piecing here for a quick and easy card – perfect for getting out in the mail quickly and to let someone know you are thinking of them!
and I love this chalkboard technique card too!
Cyndi did some intricate paper piecing for her bunny and basket. The set is called, For Peep’s Sake, A Muse Studio and it’s just in time for Easter – I love this card!
I have been on a huge CAS kick these days. For this quick and easy card, that still manages to make a big impact!, I used Hand Scripted and Floral Duet from A Muse Studio. The butterfly is from their set, Marvelous Marigolds – I get a lot of use from these two sets! I did some white embossing on vellum and then cut out my shapes. The pearls not only add interest, but they also help cover up any traces of adhesive.
It’s super easy to play along with Amusing Challenges, and just as a reminder: 2 entry limit and no digis please!
■Link your creation to your paper crafts blog, gallery (SCS, twopeas or Flickr, to name a few) before midnight of the following Sunday.
■Use any product but please follow the challenge criteria.
■Double your chances to win by using A Muse Studio products (just link in twice please)
