Amusing Challenges – Tree(s)

Thank you for stopping in for this week’s Amusing Challenge – your challenge is to use a tree or trees!   Throughout the month I’ll have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc. I will have a Weekly Winner and at the end of the month, those 4-5 winners will go into a prize drawing for one lucky Grand Prize winner.  December’s end of the month winner will receive this stamp set, Chill of Winter from A Muse Studio.

I always call Juliet the “technique queen” and I love those two different textures, side by side.  So neat!  That’s an a•muse studio tree die set, by the way, and so is the stamp set, That’s the Ticket.

I have a lot of Christmas stamps, I do NOT NEED any more Christmas stamps but … I really couldn’t help myself when I started seeing Peaceful Forest from a muse studio in action.  For this card I simply stamped the smaller tree twice and white embossed it with our amazing embossing powder (yes, it’s that good!).  Next, I embossed the sentiment and layered the card…but it looked a little empty, so I did that little ribbon/button treatment in the corner.   I like the pop of color that Cherry Chevron ribbon brings to the card.  All supplies are from A Muse Studio including that Silver Shimmer cardstock.
