Amusing Challenge – New Beginnings

Welcome to the first Amusing Challenge for 2014…this week’s theme is “new beginnings” and there can be a lot of interpretations to that!   Throughout the month I’ll have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc. I will have a Weekly Winner and at the end of the month, those 4-5 winners will go into a prize drawing for one lucky Grand Prize winner. January’s end of the month winner will receive this stamp set, All My Heart from A Muse Studio.

Juliet went with a bright and fun sized ATC card sporting a tiny calendar and featuring the A Muse Studio swallow die set.

Cyndi used several stamp sets from A Muse Studio (some are limited editions):  Eat Cake, Essential Sentiments, and Dwell in the Possibilites.  Love the embossed Celebrate in the background – this is a great New Year’s card!

I didn’t get all of my Christmas cards out in a timely manner…does that ever happen to you?  They are made but not all addressed.  Part of my excuse is that I write a full message in each one.   I’m thinking this may make a nice change – I love that little stem and budding leaf from the set Thankful for You from A Muse Studio.  My cardstock, including the Bristol watercolor paper, is also from A Muse Studio.  I love this Tall Alphabet die set (yup, it’s about a half inch tall!) and a new larger version that is now available in the A Muse Studio Valentine supplement.  I used just the “welcome” from the Essential Sentiment sentiment saying “welcome, baby”.  I watercolored my die cuts and image with Tombow markers.
