This will be a really fun month here at Amusing Challenge … this week’s theme is “Inspired by Pinterest”. I can’t tell you how often I go back, especially when I am in a creative rut or have lost my mojo, and look back over my “pins”. After all, what’s the use of all that time and saving inspiration if you never go back and give it a whirl?
Throughout the month I’ll have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc. I will have a Weekly Winner and at the end of the month, those 4-5 winners will go into a prize drawing for one lucky Grand Prize winner. January’s end of the month winner will receive this stamp set, All My Heart from A Muse Studio.
Juliet is not a member of Pinterest but I know she loves to Zentangle and I had the perfect card in mind for her to CASE. Floral Duets from A Muse Studio was a great stamp set to get her started and I love how she also used Hand Scripted. I am sure you will want to try your hand at this fun technique once you see her card!
I had the sample for my card pinned for over 6 months – it was about time I gave it a try! I used several stamp sets from A Muse Studio including: All for Love, At First Sight and Silver Linings. I find it hard sometimes to work with pinks – especially if you are trying to use more than one at a time! In this case I think the Shell, Bubblegum and Berry inks from A Muse Studio worked well together.
It’s hard to see but I embossed the umbrella on Radiant White Vellum cardstock with Diamond Glitter – both items also are from A Muse Studio.
