Amusing Challenge – Snow

Welcome to my Amusing Challenge … this week’s theme is “snow”.  Throughout the month I’ll have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc. I will have a Weekly Winner and at the end of the month, those 4-5 winners will go into a prize drawing for one lucky Grand Prize winner. January’s end of the month winner will receive this stamp set, All My Heart from A Muse Studio.

Juliet does a lot of ATC swapping and her is a card she whipped up to fit that need and our snow challenge!  She did a bit of stitching and Seasonal Branch from A Muse Studio took care of the rest of her ATC.

Cyndi did some lovely embossing using It’s A Wonderful Life and Santa Claus is Coming to Town, both stamp sets are from A Muse Studio.  She use Navy and Winter Sky cardstock from A Muse Studio’s winter palatte.

I feel a little blah about my card today and almost didn’t put it up.  I used several stamp sets from A Muse Studio:  Essential Sentiments, Silent Night and Peaceful Forest.  I like the combination of the Eucalyptus and Titan cardstock and had fun playing with the Le Pouf, also from A Muse Studio.  Something is just off though – perhaps I should’ve just left off the cabin in the right corner?

  1. Hello, Chris. For my records, could you please let me know… Are your challenge winner and top 3 picks chosen by you and your DT, or are they a random draw? I’ll check back for an answer. Thanks and have a lovely day!

  2. Thanks for asking! The Weekly Winner is selected by Random Generator…and then I pick the Top Three each week. There is a catch – I don’t pick cards made just from digital stamps for either catagories…so folks may submit but they won’t be eligible for the winner slots. 🙂

  3. Since you invited a critique – your stamping on your card looks very faint. It might work with colors that support a pale palette, but the blue is too strong with it. Of course, that is just how it looks in the photo, it might look different in real life.
