Can it be that we are already half way through March? Yikes! Thank you for stopping by to check out this week’s Amusing Challenges. I hope you like to make cards with Fancy Folds – or that you get inspired to try one by the Design Team. Throughout the month I’ll have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc. I will have a Weekly Winner and at the end of the month, those 4-5 winners will go into a prize drawing for one lucky Grand Prize winner. March’s end of month prize winner will win a package of Everything’s Rosy (6×6 paper pack) from A Muse Studio.
Juliet wowed me with this box of flowers. It folds down flat and can easily be mailed. She made her own envelope since it’s a bit larger than a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card but it’s really amazing! Juliet used a sentiment from A Muse Studio’s Contempary Greetings.
Cyndi came up with a swing card using a Sizzix die set – so much easier than trying to cut one by hand, eh? This has me anxcious for spring. Cyndi used Grapefruit Petite Polka Dot and Petite Pinstripe cardstock from A Muse Studio, as well as the stamp set, Springtime Day.
and look how pretty on the inside too!
I have wanted to make a diorama card for a long, long time now. So this was the perfect chance. 🙂 I did make some changes to the traditional templates out there – my scores were at 1/4 and 1/2 inches. This is plenty of depth and kept my card at a standard size when it folds flat for easy mailing.
I used two sets from A Muse Studio: A Touch of Nature and You’re Too Kind. I used a standard Circle Nestabilities die to cut out my circle (tucking it under the bird) and Sugar Cardstock from A Muse Studio. I also used Copic markers to color in my images.
Have you liked my Blessings Ink Facebook page? Thank you if you have! I am learning a lot about these Facebook pages and unless you “like or share” a post here and there, they probably won’t show up on your timeline. I think I have some fun posts you won’t want to miss!
PS. I hope you will still enter the current Amusing Challenge, “green”, going on here. One last chance to celebrate St Patrick’s Day, or to welcome in Spring!
