I created these cards last week and am finally sharing them as promised!  When I saw the One-Layer Simplicity challenge for “I’ve been framed”, I was stumped until I thought of the School Days stamp set from A Muse Studio.  It’s retiring at the end of this month but I have gotten so much use out of it in the past two months…it’s perfect for scrapbooking and teacher thank-you’s.  These two little penciles came out so cute – they were easy to color and I grabbed my Prismacolored pencils so as not to “bleed” through the one layer of cardstock.

The card below was even quicker!!  I inked the apple from the same set with Cherry and Grass inks from A Muse Studio and just touched it up where it needed with some colored pencils.  This time I decided to stamp the sentiment inside the frame.

A few more items are totally sold out now on A Muse Studio’s retirement sale but if you’ve waited this long, you are probably waiting until the sale hits 55% OFF starting on Monday, 16 June.  Remember, it’s while supplies last so if you want something get it…I have already seen some of the boards lighting up with folks looking for certain sets that sold out.
