Cyndi surprised me with this wonderful card even though she honestly deserved a break this week. It’s perfect timing as we get ready to celebrate the Fourth of July here in the United States but also…today is the last day that you can buy this set (and all the other retiring A Muse Studio stamp sets and products). Cyndi used Let Freedom Ring and I love those beige stars. They are stamped in Latte ink from A Muse Studio and match our Kraft cardstock perfectly. She also used the Cherry Petite Polka dot cardstock from A Muse Studio. The white embossed sentiment looks great on the navy panel…she dry embossed it with a chevron pattern. As usual, Cyndi has lots of details – what a fun card!
Her card is a hard one to follow up! I’m on the other end of the spectrum with my card that I entered today in a Splitcoaststampers challenge today – CAS sunsets. I made my sunset by scribbling with Tombow markers onto an acrylic block and then spritzing it with water several times before placing it on some watercolor cardstock. To finish the scene I stamped some of the birds from A Muse Studio’s Clever Girls. This is another wonderful stamp set that retires today…everything left is marked at 55% off! The sentiment is from the set, Friend to Friend and I mounted everything on Vanilla cardstock from A Muse Studio. It’s one of my favorites – I just ordered two packs so that I don’t run out too quickly.
and now on to our winners from last week’s “texture” Amusing Challenge! Please feel free to grab your blog badges – and I hope you all will return this week for the Anything Goes challenge!
