This card turned out to be everyone’s favorite at my Holiday Hoopla Open House last week. Did you know you can get this stamp set for free? It’s an A Muse Studio Holiday Hoopla limited edition set and is available – FREE – to hostesses during September and October. Email me if you are interested in starting to earn yours! 🙂
It’s really a very simple card and I started the process with a circle reverse mask – just like I did for my Hark card here (you can see pictures if that helps!). I used Vanilla amuse studio cardstock and I sponged in my sky with Sky ink from A Muse Studio. Then I pulled in from the bottom my green, which is Grass amuse studio ink, and tried to make it wavy for a hilly slope…I added some more sky – dividing the circle almost into fourths (3/4 sky, 1/4 grass). Leaving the mask in place, I stamped my lone aspen in Wheat amuse studio ink.
Once I removed my mask, I stamped my deer in Versafine Onyx ink. Then I took the smaller little leaf bunches from the Holiday Hoopla stamp set and went around the edges, twisting and turning my stamp so the leaves went in different directions, using Fern amuse studio ink. With Grass ink, I went around the circle again, but with a larger leaf bunch and then went back into the darker Grass green with a small leaf group to just fill in any empty spots. I stamped the lone bird as an afterthought to balance things out – it’s also from the Holiday Hoopla stamp set and I used Cherry amuse studio ink.
My sentiment (the first one was off centered, so hence the “banner”) is stamped in Versafine Onyx ink.
