a•muse|studio Stained Glass Poppy and Stamp Out Breast Cancer

I’ve been playing along with some of the SCS Hope You Can Cling Too challenges that are supporting women battling breast cancer – in the end you have to mail all your cards to a specific clinic and it’s been a lot of fun and very inspiring.  This challenge was to “smoosh” inks on glossy cardstock but I went with Bristol Watercolor paper that I had on hand from A Muse Studio.  I used Orange, Blush, Grapefruit and a touch of Gold Dust Splash – just a few of the 30 colors A Muse Studio carries.  I love the versatility of these sprays and here is just one more example of how wonderful they are – you should see this paper shimmer in real life, it’s glorious!

The top card is my second “dip” into the watered down dots of Splash and below is a third impression into the inks using a scrap of Bristol cardstock since I didn’t want anything to go to waste!

The rest of the cards are pretty much the same – I used Versafine Onyx ink [NOTE:  it takes a long time to dry on this paper/splash combo – longer than you would expect!  I have a panel that I can not show because of the smudges I got after handling it too early] to stamp my Stained Glass Poppy from A Muse Studio and I also used it on their Stamp Out Breast Cancer set for my two different sentiments. The last step was merely to outline my main panel with either a gold paint pen or black copic marker and then I mounted them on some Vanilla amuse studio cardstock.

Did you know that you can get this Fight Like a Girl set for FREE?  There is a $3 shipping charge but let me just tell you, it is well worth it!
