Sometimes an idea doesn’t always quite work but there usually is a solution or work around! I wanted to do an emboss resist of the wreath image from the new stamp set, With Love from A Muse Studio. It’s part of their January Collection – something new awaits you each month and I can’t tell you how exciting it is for me! I love the current offerings and after seeing what’s coming in February – well, you will love it too!
After watercoloring with my Cherry Splash (amuse studio carries almost 30 colors!) though, the image was super faint and barely visible. I decided to add a little color and inked up the image in Grass ink and carefully overstamped the embossed image. It worked perfectly – even with out a stamp positioner – woot woot! I also added the little heart from the set, inked up in Apple amuse studio ink, as an after thought but I like it. One of my favorite colors to mat in is a grey toned cardstock – A Muse Studio has several greys and I love the variety but this happens to be a piece of DCWV scrap I had laying around and needed to use up. I have way TOO much paper!
This week’s Amusing Challenge is all about hearts so I hope you’ll find some time/inspiration and join in on the fun!
