I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and I’m so happy that you have time to swing by and visit this week’s Amusing Challenge. I have quite a few thank you notes to send out (and some Christmas cards – I must confess) so that’s the challenge this week: thank you cards/notes! Throughout the month I’ll have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc. I will have a Weekly Winner and at the end of the month, those 4-5 winners will go into a prize drawing for one lucky Grand Prize winner. December’s Prize Winner will receive a package of heart shaped doilies – available as part of A Muse Studio’s January Collection – and will be announced tomorrow.
Cyndi is back this week with one of my favorite stamp sets from the A Muse Studio holiday catalog, called Cozy Back. I hope you were able to get everything you wanted from this catalog before it retired on the 31st! Once again Cyndi’s eye for details tickles me – I absolutely LOVE that sign post! She did a great job coloring with copics and, I think her use of the sequin on the snowman’s hat is brilliant. Cyndi used Le Pouf and Cherry ribbon, also from A Muse Studio on this card.
My card is a great way to use up those thin scraps of paper that I always seem to have left over! All the assorted cardstock patterns I used here are from A Muse Studio. I die cut my “thanks” with one of the word dies from A Muse Studio and I love how easily they pop out, despite being so thin. This image and sentiment are from the My Punny Valentine stamp set that is available only during A Muse Studio’s January Collection. You can take a peek at it here. I used Copic markers to color my little bomb and I also used some Onyx pearls from amuse studio. This card just makes me smile – as do all of the cute little puns in the set! 🙂
