Last week on SCS I found a technique challenge to use white embossing powder over white cardstock/watercolor paper.  I’ve done it before with so-so results.  I’ve decided it really depends on your image – duh, right?!?  🙂

For this go around I chose Stained Glass Poppy from A Muse Studio and white embossed it over watercolor paper.  Then I set about and began adding layers of color with my Peerless Watercolor papers…they are so easy to use.  I finished my card off by layering it over some Fern cardstock and stamped a sentiment from Beautiful Birthdays in Fern ink – all from A Muse Studio, by the way.

I was thrilled and honored to be chosen a SCS Favorite on Sunday … made my day!  I think these paints make anyone feel like an artist though – you should check them out if you like to watercolor!  They are available at A Muse Studio and I could help you earn them for free if you are interested in having a catalog party with your friends!  Email me for more details…
