Amusing Challenge – Die Cuts

I’m a bit late getting this post up – last night we lost cable and phone service due to the howling and blustering winds.  I hope all my readers and friends living in the Northeast and upper Midwest and, well anywhere there is bad weather this weekend , that you stay safe and well!

I loved seeing all of the Valentines from last week’s challenge (although you still have until almost midnight Sunday to still enter!) – and a happy belated Valentines Day to you! This week’s Amusing Challenge is all about die cuts.  Throughout the month I have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc. I will have a Weekly Winner and at the end of the month, those 4-5 winners will go into a prize drawing for one lucky Grand Prize winner.  February’s Prize Winner will receive sn@p cardstock birthday sticker sheets.  This is perfect for project life type scrapbooking or cardmaking!

Tricia (of 1PhatChic) had me almost in tears with her sweet little tag/bookmark… this is the kind of paper crafting that will never be tossed in a trashcan!

Carol used some SEI paper for butterflies that have given me an idea – come back later this week to see if it works!  🙂  I love her layout that makes a quick and easy thinking of you card.

  1. Hope everyone is safe. Warm here in Central TX but there is snow in the forecast for this wk. Couple yrs ago we had snow on Valentine’s Day. I remember having enough snow that we made a Snowman in the front yard. LIke all the creations. The bunny tag is sweet. The Butterflies add interest to a CAS card. The Valentine shaker style does look like a lot of work/love went into making it. The Easter basket is great using the colors of white & sunny yellow w/ gold and cannot go wrong with the choc treats.
P.S. There are some leftover cut & paste that indicate this is a Valentine challenge that needs correcting.
