Last week’s challenge was to use a tag on a card…I thought that was a pretty easy challenge but we only had a few players. Hopefully this week’s Anything Goes Amusing Challenge will be different! Throughout the month I have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc. I will have a Weekly Winner and at the end of the month, those 4-5 winners will go into a prize drawing for one lucky Grand Prize winner. September’s winner will receive this brand new (but retired) A Muse Studio stamp set called: Avian Notes
Leaves are starting to drop here but still, I hate to say good bye to summer. Despite that feeling, I did have fun with this card. I watercolored the assorted leaves that came in the Hey Foxy stamp set (my favorite part of the set!!) and used some of the new 4 mm French Roast sequins from A Muse Studio. Did you see the chance to win a free bag of them here?!? Another great thing about this card is how beautifully amuse studio cardstock looks once it’s been embossed and then sanded…isn’t it wonderful?
amuse studio supplies: Hey Foxy stamp set, Welcome to the Neighborhood stamp set, Wasabi, Sugar and Eucalyptus cardstock, Lime Splash, Banner die, 4 mm French Roast sequins, copic markers
These watery flowers make me even sadder to see summer go! I had an idea to stamp with A Muse Studio inks on wet watercolor paper. The inks ran a bit and with an extra spritz from my spray bottle, flowed even more. I did end up over stamping once more with the Berry ink to make the flowers appear a bit bolder. I love this card!! The beautiful sentiment is white embossed to really make it pop.
