CTMH Jack and Some Burlap Scraps

I can’t believe I almost missed sharing this card I made using CTMH‘s new Jack cardmaking stamp set!  I wanted to call my post “Scrappy Jack” — not to be mistaken with the “Sloppy Joe” song I used to sign as a kid (dare I say era 1970’s?!?).  This card was perfect for using up scraps – I pieced together 3 different scraps to make the colorful panel directly behind the bear.

This is one from my series of Jack cards when I had him out on my table and couldn’t stop stamping and creating with him.  Can you believe I created that blue flecked piece?  It looks like designer paper, I think.  I find the two sets of what I think of texture or patterns from the CTMH Flower Market Cricut bundle sets are amazing.  Did you see my emboss resist card here using one of those patterns?  The best part?  You can buy these bundles as a hostess half price item when you have a qualifying party…be sure to ask me how because CTMH makes it so easy to have a party with your friends:

  • in your home
  • my home
  • online or
  • a combination of all of the above!

What rubber stamping supplies do I need to make this card?

I did rummage around my scrap 12-drawer cart for some papers that would mix and match with my CTMH papers (Dreamin Big is the background mat for Jack but it’s retired now and no longer available).  I found some papers that I had from a|s and they went together perfectly.  The bear was so easy to stamp on kraft and just cut out but did you know that CTMH has a matching thin cut die for this set?  They do!
