CTMH Annual Inspirations Virtual Open House!

Today was my Open House kicking off the release of CTMH’s latest Annual Inspirations catalog!  Here you can see the new basic color palatte, one of my favorite thincut dies (Scalloped Border – woohoo!), some new Fundamental papers and, of course, stamps!   I’m really excited about the two toned solid papers and everyone loved this new feature.

It was a last minute event that I squeezed in between my last days of summer which has been  filled with family visits and a trip to the beach.  Despite the rain, I was thrilled to have a full house! Thank you to everyone who came out in person!

If you are not local or you couldn’t make it today – don’t worry! There is still a prize raffle opportunity for you AND, if you place an order with my Open House Gathering by this Sunday at 5 pm ET, you will be entered to win $25 in free Hostess Rewards!

One of my favorite new CTMH stamp sets is Many Congratulations. Here I feature it with the wrapped bow but later on I share a field of flowers I stamped with it for a totally different look and feel.

We made two FREE Make n Take cards at my Open House today. I wanted to feature some stamps and papers from the current Seasonal Inspirations 2 catty – remember that mini catalog retires at the end of this month! Yikes! Here is Jack for cardmaking and the Jack paper pack – from Close To My Heart.

The next card we made was from the brand new Annual Inspirations catalog and features one of CTMH’s new 3-step stamps. Love this Thoughtful Bird and I found it easy to achieve a great look. I think everyone was happy with their results. One tip would be to wipe your block edges between ink colors – I found several folks (including me!) had random and stray lines of ink from that!

If you have ever been over to my house for a stamping event, you know my dog Walter. He normally thinks of these “get-togethers” as his play date – and today was proof it’s true! He got his first card – made by Cole…just one of his biggest fans.

So, you’ve stuck around this far and made it to the end of my post! Leave a comment below if you have or have not ever tried CTMH stamps before and I will pick a prize winner on Saturday, August 18th. I ask that because I was talking to some of my guests that until I discovered CTMH, I had some earlier misgivings from prior experiences with “other” types of clear stamps.   And, honestly, I love them — so glad I decided to join Close To My Heart!

The random drawing winner will get to choose his or her favorite sentiment from the four shown. These are meant for the Cut Above Tag Kit – Golden Moments (which is awesome by the way!) but are designed to work with tags, cards or even a scrapbook page!

I’ve been using CTMH Stamps since they used to be wood mounted! I love the Clear stamps now. The changeover in ink pad formulations have made them even better to use! And the new ink pads are large and raised, esier to open and close and more fun!

  4. I have not tried CTMH yet. But I have a few of your Amuse studio’s stamp sets in my collection. Look forward to adding CTMH soon to my collection.

  5. I had a few CTMH stamps previous to your joining, but had hardly ever used them. Since you joined, your beautiful cards and tips have inspired me to use those older stamps and the newer ones I have ordered from you! Thank you so much, my friend!! 😊❤️

I used CTMH years ago but haven’t for a long time until you recently got me inspired again. Thank you. So sorry I missed your Open House. We may have to plan a crafty weekend visit/trip some time.

  10. I love my CTMH stamps -some are over 10 years old now and hark to back in the day when they offered them in both wood mount and foam mount. Time flies when you are having fun stamping 🙂

  11. I am a big fan of clear stamps, and it was CTMH that made me love them.

  12. Hi Chris – love me so e CTMH stamps – I used to be a “red rubber girl” but absolutely love being able to see exactly where I’m stamping, and CTMH acrylics are TOP NOTCH above the others, in my opinion : )
