CTMH Hello Foxy – June’s STOM

Hello Foxy is CTMH's June Stamp of the Month, cardmaking ideas, fox stamps, Chris Franco CTMH consultant

Yikes!  Time is running out to get your June Stamp of the Month (STOM)!  This Hello Foxy set is super cute from CTMH.  I had a few friends who missed out on last months’ stamp – I know life can get overwhelming and you’ve got it on your “to do” list but then things get in the way.

You can purchase it straight out for $17.95 or – with a $50 purchase you can get the Hello Foxy STOM for JUST $5.  Right now you can take advantage of the CTMH Cardstock Carnival – all solid paper packs are marked 25% off…so just imagine how easy it is to get this cute set for just $5.  đź™‚  We also have a buy one get one at half price album sale – it’s called We’ve Got You Covered!

Hello Foxy S1706 – June STOM

I think this may be the first time I used the fox here from this STOM set!  They are so cute – I used the two little sideways guys in my mid-month tutorial that finally went out on Sunday!  And, I’ve really enjoyed the floral pieces too – you can see two cards here and here.

I’m off to set the table for my 10 card workshop that is happening today!  We’ll be making this card and some others that I can’t wait to share with you.  The CTMH base catalog has just one more month before many of the stamps and papers disappear.  I’ll miss many of the products (I’ve had such a short time with them!) but I’m excited to see what is coming next!  Stay tuned and I’ll keep you posted…

I have a current party open so if you need anything – I’d love to have you join it and receive a free little thank you from me for orders over $50.  Also, if you are interested in earning free product – I can show you how easy it is to host your own party!  Ask me how…

I have the fun new Llama stamp set from CTMH but I couldn’t stop giggling at all the sentiments in the Llama set from MFT.   Inside it reads “no prob-llama!”  My son’s nickname (by his school friends – not us!) was Llama from the Emperor’s New Groove so I think I will get some good use out of these two sets.  On this rubber stamped card  I used CTMH’s Prickly Pear papers and I think I may add a few matching sequins.  How do you feel about sequins on male cards?  hm… trying to decide!  It’s a super CAS card but I think little details keep it interesting.

And now on to last week’s heARTful stamping challenge winners.  The theme was summer fun…ah, school is finally out here and so it does feel like summer has arrived.

heARTful stamping challenge – Anything Goes

This month’s theme and monthly prize

Anything Goes + a stamp

Jun 25 – Jul 2

School is finally out and this past week was super busy for me!  It’s everyone’s favorite challenge for this week’s  heARTful stamping challenge – Anything Goes.

Normally throughout the month I have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc.  There are weekly Top 3 winners and a random winner from all of the participants receives the monthly prize drawing.  You can also see last week’s heARTful stamping challenge which goes until Sunday night, midnight, right here.

This Week’s Inspiration

Debi is back this week with an adorable “Peek a Boo” type of card!  She used this CTMH’s Stamp of the Month, Hello Foxy, and their new Prickly Pear papers.  You can see more shots of Debi’s sweet rubber stamped card over on her blog, That Might Look Good on a Card.

I held a 10 rubber stamped card workshop yesterday (round 2 plus a Fun Folds class are happening this upcoming week so if you are coming – don’t look!) and this was one of the cards we made.  Debi used the fox image (there are 3 cute ones in the current Stamp of the Month) but for my card I used the flowers from CTMH’s Hello Foxy.  I have a “thing” for Kraft cardstock and just got Close To My Heart’s Kraft paper during their latest sale…all cardstock packs are on sale for 25% off through the end of June!  I love adding banner tags to my cards because it’s a great way to use up paper scraps!

Here is the birthday card I made for my husband this week – I was a little “stuck” on where to get started but I had just received my new Workshop Your Way (WYW) Let’s Party cardmaking kit (these are great time savers that CTMH offers – a stamp set with assorted papers and card ideas you download for free!).  I love the open type sentiment and those banners are neat too.  I turned to my latest how-to book Original Cards Confidence Program (Close To My Heart is retiring these but I love having a book full of card making ideas) and found this easy layout.  It’s was perfect for using up my Sugar Rush paper scraps too!  pst….Sea Glass is retiring next month and that really makes me sad.  It’s been my go-to blue ink of late!

CTMH Some Kinda Wonderful Paper is So Feminine!

Close To My Heart, Some Kinda Wonderful birthday card, cake and flowers, CTMH

I had so much fun making this Clean and Simple (CAS) birthday card for my niece.  I found a few bits of Some Kinda Wonderful paper scraps leftover and was reminded how this CTMH paper was perfect for both masculine AND feminine cards.  The “celebrate” is also a CTMH stamp set and it’s from my Straight to the Top rewards that I earned as a Close To My Heart consultant.  If you are interested in finding out what perks we enjoy – be sure to ask me!  I’d love to have you on my team.  đź™‚

What rubber stamping supplies do I need to make this card?

Check out your stash of paper scraps – I bet you have some pieces floating around that would work perfectly with this layout.  CTMH has the Some Kinda Wonderful paper packs in the Going Soon! section so that means it is only available while supplies last.  I also found that line images make for a great background and then you can use other things for a pop of color like the sequins and paper flowers that I inked up with CTMH’s Lemon colored ink.
