Joyful Tidings was one of my favorite stamps in CTMH’s Holiday Expressions and this card was a big hit at my Christmas card workshop this past week. Included in the Workshops Your Way (WYW) kits, are two card layouts that work perfectly with the stamps, papers and extra goodies that come in the kit. Because I was making this card 3 times for close to 20 people, I changed it up just a bit – so I used the layout and switched the papers. Oh, and for stars I used snowflakes! I love this card.
Buffalo Plaid is really popular right now and CTMH is carrying a Buffalo Plaid embossing folder in the Holiday Expressions – which is good until December 31st.
CTMH supplies for this card: Joyful Tidings Workshop Your Way kit, Beary Christmas paper pack and matching cardstock, Gold Foil paper, Grass ink, Buffalo Plaid embossing folder, Banner thin cuts, You are Here Cricut bundle
CTMH supplies: The Thought that Counts stamp set, Beary Christmas paper pack, Silver Glitter paper, Tag thin cut bundle
This card makes me want to clap! I love it. It’s sassy but not too sassy – know what I mean? If you like these types of sentiments, you MUST check out CTMH’s The Thought that Counts stamp set. It comes with 22 stamps and is just $13.95. You can make lots of tags with this set but I see scrapbooking and of course, cards in it’s future too!

This was just one of the cards my Hostess Club members made this month. I had a marathon Christmas card class on Monday and Tuesday and will be sharing those cards over the next few days. Everyone loved the selection and I think they had a good time!
Don’t forget that CTMH’s Holiday Expressions retires at the end of December so you don’t want to miss your favorites! Plus, right now they are having a FUN fundamentals sale and there are some great patterns and colors to stock up on! If you spend $50 – you can get the Stamp of the Month, Through the Years for just $5!

Today I am kicking off day 1 of my Christmas card workshop! I still have to get some cake baked before everyone arrives so this will be short and sweet! I’ve been using a LOT of the Beary Christmas and Silver and Gold holiday paper packs from CTMH for my cards. But, I love this display of the Silver and Gold papers – they totally work for ALL year round. I guess that’s why CTMH paired these papers with the November stamp of the month – Through the Year. Brilliant!

This Week’s Inspiration
Cyndi has been really busy taking care of her Mother’s estate and so I was surprised (but thrilled!) when she was able to send me a card this week. Am I lucky to have her on my design team or what?!? This is a beautiful, masculine card. I just love how Cyndi used the feather from CTMH’s September Stamp of the Month – Thankful for You, as the background. The sentiment is from there as well. The moose is from CTMH’s current stamp set called Nature’s Wish.

My card came out about when I was playing with the Punny Pals stamp set – it was featured in CTMH Share a Smile campaign last month and so I’ve had a hard time putting it away! After I colored the lion with copics, I thought the Falling for You paper scraps I had would match him perfectly…and they did. I finished it off with a sentiment from CTMH’s Stronger Together stamp set. This is the set where they are donating 100% of the sales to the Red Cross – it’s not too late to get your set and make a difference!

What better way to start the long winter with a nice supply of papers and complements?! It’s a perfect way to tackle your scrapbooking and cardmaking needs. What I love about CTMH’s papers is that the scale is just right for both cardmaking and scrapping. The only hard part? Deciding which side of the paper to use! ha ha…but with this FUNdamentals sale – double up and you will never have to chose.
Seriously though – if you have NOT tried Close To My Hearts papers yet….now is the time. No more excuses with this great sale! Want to save even more? Think about hostessing a party – you can earn $25 in free products (or more!). Ask me how!
CTMH’s November Stamp of the Month is called Through the Year. Just like the fundamentals – it’s perfect for cardmaking AND scrapbooking! You can buy it for retail at $17.95 or, if you have a $50 order or more, it’s just $5!
