heARTful stamping winners!

Getting ready to send home “winter gifts” to our Kindergarteners this week.  I couldn’t resist dressing up these school die cuts with some little bows (amuse studio still has the best bow die around and you can find them now as an online store) and some stickles (that luckily were NOT dried up yet).  Aren’t they cute?  The story is too!

But now for a drum roll please

I’m so excited to reveal my new heARTful stamping blog badge. Congratulations to the Top 3 winner’s from last week’s challenge…you are the first to claim this badge!

10. Hussena
17. Vinita Jain
18. Claire C

Congratulations to the winners and please feel free to grab your blog badges.  I want to thank everyone who came to help me kick off my new blog challenge and I hope you will back to play in this week’s Anything Goes challenge.

If you are looking for a chance to win more prizes, don’t miss out on my Coffee Lover’s blog hop post.  Not only will you be inspired (by me, I hope, but over 300 other entries!) – there are chances to win Sponsor prizes and blog prizes.  I have both!

This Week’s Inspiration

ctmh-first-order-005

This is what waited for me after work on Friday and it’s my CTMH starter kit, order of new catalogs (already in the mail to a few folks!  If you want a copy – I have an order button in my sidebar!) and my own first order using the $50 coupon from my Starter Kit.  I couldn’t wait to play with Hello, Winter and this card is enroute to my brother-in-law.  My sister and her family are avid cross country skiers so I was super excited when I saw this set.  It was easy to watercolor with tombow markers and the CTMH Holiday Expressions mini catalog gave me a great example for color ideas.

This card feature’s CTMH’s Stamp of the Month, Thoughtful Flowers.  I used a sentiment from Hello, Winter (partially stamped to fit on the tag) and turned it into a holiday card!  Thoughtful Flowers is a must have and you really can do so much with it – did you see my card using it for the Winter Coffee Lover’s Blog hop here?

  • new challenge name!

In fact, congratulations to KT Fit Kitty for coming up with my new name!  P.S.  You all had some great suggestions and sadly some were already taken but thank you so much for your inspiration when I needed it!

This Week’s Inspiration

Since I just signed up yesterday, I really don’t have a lot of CTMH stamps to play with yet.  But I did have this Santa’s Helpers set that I bought years ago.  I was thrilled how beautifully it stamped after sitting in the dark depths of a drawer for so many years!

I was really happy that my upline, Lisa, sent me a few stamped images to play with.  I love how this all year round wreath becomes a Christmas/holiday image by adding a simple sentiment to the middle!

Linda, the CEO of amuse studio, is on her 10th year of designing digital calendars where all proceeds go to charity.  She’s raised over $22,000 over the years and this year the proceeds will go to GirlUp.org.   Girl Up has partnered with the United Nations to support programs that give girls an equal chance for education, health, social and economic opportunities, and a life free from violence.  There are 6 different sizes.  You can buy one or all 6!  I’ll be sharing more details later this week but here’s a peek at one I’ve just made.
