This set of cards was inspired by the latest Papercrafts magazine cover…when I saw it, I thought, “wow, I have everything I need on hand to do this”.  That’s a great feeling isn’t it?  To have an idea and run down and actually get it done! :)

Here’s the one problem.  This paper, GINGHAM, retires today!!  That’s the bad news.  The good news is that it is on sale.  So if you want to pick some up, just follow the link at the end of this post or via my sidebar to go shopping.  That sentiment, “Just a note”, is also part of the Avian Notes rubber stamp set that is also retiring and is also 30% off…

I hope this gives you some ideas of your own!  The coasterboard from a•muse studio cuts like a dream – I couldn’t have done this on a regular coaster and nesabilities. The twill is a fun way to connect the pages together and I think I’ll put them even a snitch closer together next time.  If you need any help tracking down one or more of the items you see here, be sure to shoot me an email.  {Yesterday’s post has a supply list – more or less!}

As the holidays approach I will be slowing down my posting.  Be sure to subscribe to my blog and/or email to keep up with the latest!  We won’t be traveling but between my parents and his parents visiting, we will have company for 27 days straight…think of me!  :)

Sketch 8

Juliet had fun decorating her little row of snowmen – this is a retired set from a•muse studio but we have lots of great holiday stamps in our base and holiday catalogs.  :)   You can see them via my sidebar if you haven’t checked them out!

I had trouble making just one card!  Here is my holiday card using Making Spirits Bright.  I also used Candy Cane and Twas the Night Before Christmas cardstock from a•muse studio.

Next I grabbed some Sea Shell images that I had started for another project and I paired them with this bright Venetian cardstock.  I love how it turned out, it almost has a French parfume label feel to it.  You can click on these photos to enlarge them.
