What better way to start the long winter with a nice supply of papers and complements?! It’s a perfect way to tackle your scrapbooking and cardmaking needs. What I love about CTMH’s papers is that the scale is just right for both cardmaking and scrapping. The only hard part? Deciding which side of the paper to use! ha ha…but with this FUNdamentals sale – double up and you will never have to chose.
Seriously though – if you have NOT tried Close To My Hearts papers yet….now is the time. No more excuses with this great sale! Want to save even more? Think about hostessing a party – you can earn $25 in free products (or more!). Ask me how!
CTMH’s November Stamp of the Month is called Through the Year. Just like the fundamentals – it’s perfect for cardmaking AND scrapbooking! You can buy it for retail at $17.95 or, if you have a $50 order or more, it’s just $5!
I wanted to share my Happy Mail that I received from friends for Halloween! Lots of treats from Kathy, Andrea and Susan. Thank you so much for making me smile.
Now I don’t mean to scare you but…TODAY is the last day to take advantage of the CTMH Share a Smile campaign. Those Punny Pal thin cut dies really make life easy and they honestly bring a smile every time I look at that cute set. CTMH donates $7 from the sale of each Punny Pal set so it’s a win-win!!
This is also the last day to purchase CTMH’s Stamp of the Month – Christmas Tunes. I have been blown away by the samples out in blogland and on Pinterest! It’s the perfect pairing for Beary Christmas paper pack (hint, hint!).
How lucky am I? My friend Chuck stopped by to pick up an order and he had just finished teaching his flower arranging class. He gifted me this gorgeous flower arrangement – it is beyond amazing. It’s neat how several of us stampers have other hobbies as well. What else do you do besides rubber stamping?
ohhhh….we had some great entries this week for our Anything Goes heARTful stamping challenge. Lots of night skies and Halloween cards. So fun! I had a tough time to chose just 3, but I have and here they are!
3. Christi C
12. Lily Patch Stamps
Congratulations to the winners and I hope everyone will be back for this week’s heARTful stamping challenge! I’d LOVE to hit 30 participants. Won’t you invite someone to stop in and play along?! Thanks!!

I bought some extra burlap ribbon for my fall wreath making class and I think you will love it!
This Week’s Inspiration
Debi Brile is back this week with a fun and cheerful birthday card. Debi is the queen of unusual and fun fold cards – this is no exception! I love that Debi used fallish colors but it’s not a traditional fall card. You can see her work on her blog, That Might Look Good on a Card.
Above is the closed view and below is open…
This is such a unique easel fold card. It’s beautiful and now I want to try one too!
My next is from the CTMH designers … but because of my work schedule I wasn’t able to whip something up in time to share with you. They have a wonderful blog post about stamping on vellum and have some tricks and tips worth checking out! There are some many gorgeous details on this card, and I couldn’t wait to share it with you.

I love how this card turned out – it’s clean and simple (CAS) but it’s also so elegant! You may be searching right now for the “gold” in this card but that’s the name of the sentiment’s stamp set! It’s called Silver and Gold and it’s from Close To My Heart. I’ve also used the CTMH Cricut bundle called You Are Here and Flower Market for these beautiful snowflakes. I was inspired by Jessica Frost-Ballas and Australian CTMH Consultant Doreen Watkins helped me make this happen! I had no idea how to lock my images in place and Doreen created a cut file for my in Cricut – thank you so much!! CTMH consultants are the best!
Here is a close up of the shimmer and shine on these snowflakes!
I first painted on some Silver Nicholson Peerless watercolor paint but I wanted a little variation in the background colors. I added just two drops worth of the CTMH Glacier reinker and randomly brushed that on.
I hope this helps you look at your dies and cutting files in a new way!
