CTMH Little Dreamer

There are a lot of fun unicorn stamp sets out these days and CTMH is no exception with it’s new Little Dreamer stamp set.  I really like this set because you can “build” it with quite a few options – that’s something several of the new stamp sets in CTMH’s Seasonal Expressions 2 catty have to offer.  It can be a horse or a unicorn … it can wear a crown too!  The snout, main and tail are separate pieces so that makes easy for mixing colors.  So much fun.

And, as you have come to expect – the Little Dreamer paper pack is super cute too!

What Rubber stamping supplies do I need to make this card?

I did use up some old twinkle stars I have from a|s but CTMH carries some Glitter Gems to go with the Little Dreamer collection.  There is also a matching die set for the Little Dream cardmaking stamp set so if you don’t like to fussy cut – you are in LUCK!

By the way – I have a workshop open on my webstore and if you place an order of $50 or more I will send you a little thank you. Be sure to tuck in a FREE copy of the Seasonal Expressions 2 catty into your shopping cart! You have just a few more days to take advantage of the Stamp of the Month and Live Beautifully promotions!

CTMH Live Beautifully CAS Cards

I wanted to share a few more cards from my Live Beautifully card workshop.  Time is running out if you want to order this stamp set and/or paper pack.  CTMH is offering them both during May for National Scrapbooking Month.  I had a nice mix of CAS cards (like these!) and others with quite a few layers (gasp!).  You may have seen my post here about CTMH’s zip strips – the little strip across the top of their 12 x 12 papers.  I used them here in the card design.  And, even when I didn’t have one – I cut some of my papers to that size because it’s really quite a useful dimension!  (I’m referring to that top piece of purplish pattern).

I’m trying not to beat a drum – but don’t miss out on your chance to get these great two limited edition offerings!

heARTful stamping challenge winners

Happy 19th Birthday to my son today!  I’m so happy to have both kids home under the roof with us again – even if it’s just for a short, short time.  sigh…

I dug out Way To Go which is on CTMH’s retiring list so you’ll only be able to get it while supplies last.  It’s a fun set (I think one of my favorite cards to date used that curvy “cloud line” – it went out in my tutorial newsletter for my email subscribers in February!).  This card also uses some of CTMH’s new Prickly Pear paper packet which is in their new Seasonal Expressions 2 catty.

And now on to the winners for last week’s heARTful stamping challenge which was all about animals.  What a nice variety of cards and I loved all of the entries!  This is always the hard part…

Congratulations to the winners and if you don’t already have this blog badge – I’d love for you to grab it!  Please come back for this week’s heARTful stamping challenge which is to use a stamp and a die cut.

heARTful stamping challenge – die cuts

This month’s theme and monthly prize

Die cuts + a stamp

May 21 – 28

Thank you for stopping by and checking out this week’s heARTful stamping challenge.  I think – I hope! – this will be an easy challenge since it’s just to use a die cut.  Normally throughout the month I have different sorts of challenges…”use it”, themes, sketch, etc.  There are weekly Top 3 winners and a random winner from all of the participants receives the monthly prize drawing.  You can also see last week’s heARTful stamping challenge which goes until Sunday night, midnight, right here.

It seemed fitting, with us celebrating Mother’s Day this month,  to feature the Hello Lovely Compliments pack from CTMH.  These “stickers” are great for both cardmaking and scrapbooking!  The gold words, hearts and arrows in the lower left corner are raised so they really are quite lovely.

This Week’s Inspiration

Get ready for two CAS cards…that seems to be my “go to” style!  tee hee…

I have quite a few thank you notes I have to send out for recent orders and I have been on a roll playing with the new Jack cardmaking stamp set in CTMH’s Seasonal Expressions 2 catty.  It’s really a great outdoorsy, masculine stamp set that has a lot of accessories that will help you achieve quiet a few different looks.  I guess that’s why I can stop!  Here I paired him with some bright colors from the Some Kinda Wonderful designer paper pack – this is one of the Going Soon! products leftover from CTMH’s Seasonal Expressions 1 catalog.  The “thank you” sentiment is also from the previous catalog and is one of my favorite collections:  Hello Lovely.  Be sure to check out this section before it’s too late!

supplies: Jack cardmaking stamp set, Hello Lovely stamp set (while supplies last), Some Kinda Wonderful paper pack (while supplies last), Raspberry ink, watercolor pencils, White Daisy paper – CTMH; other: tag die – a|s

This next card is one of my Live Beautifully workshop cards and I was inspired by another CTMH consultant who paired this die cut with the designer paper pack.  I loved the variation of roses that everyone made at my workshop.  Some roses had tinges of yellow that really looked amazing.  you really can’t go wrong!  I used my Flower Market Cricut download from CTMH (which I got as a hostess half priced item and you can too!) to cut out the rose.  I think it really pairs well with the Live Beautifully patterned paper pack that CTMH is offering during May only.  I will keep this card as is until I need a particular sentiment and then I can add that before I mail it out!  Do you do that too?

CTMH Sea Glass and Live Beautifully

I’m finally getting around to sharing some of my Live Beautifully cards from my recent workshop. We made 10 different cards using CTMH’s Live Beautifully stamp set and paper pack. These are available only during May so you don’t want to miss out! I find I can’t stop using these roses!

I was lucky that CTMH provides it’s consultants with monthly inspirations to use for workshops. I tend to still rework some of them but it’s a great starting place. I need a good “springboard” – as you might have seen from my post the other day where I like challenges to get my card making started.  Sometimes is just a matter of tweaking to accommodate the supplies I have on hand.  That’s how I hope I inspire you!

Sea Glass will be retiring this summer so you will want to pick up the reinker to go with your stamp pad.  It’s a gorgeous color and really goes well with so many shades.
